Alien Trespass Trailer

Roadside Attractions has debuted a wacky trailer for Alien Trespass today. Honestly, I’m not really sure how to describe this, other than just to say that it’s a funky sci-fi spoof called Alien Trespass that stars Eric McCormack as a local astronomer who must save Earth. Will I see this? Probably. Will I see it in theaters? Probably not.

Watch the trailer for Alien Trespass:

Set in 1957, Alien Trespass chronicles a fiery object from space that crashes into a mountaintop in the California desert, bringing the threat of disaster to Earth. Out of the flying saucer escapes a murderous creature – the Ghota, which is bent on destroying all life forms on the planet. A benevolent alien from the spaceship, Urp, inhabits the body of Ted Lewis – a local astronomer – and with the help of Tammy, a waitress from the local diner, sets out to save mankind.

Alien Trespass is directed by R.W. Goodwin, who directed a few “X-Files” TV show episodes and is making his feature directorial debut. The screenplay was written by newcomers Steven P. Fisher and James Swift. Roadside Attractions is bringing Alien Trespass to limited theaters (in 22 markets) on April 3rd.
